How To Set Cad For Mac 2013 With Recent Commands Right Click
Here's a quick doozy for ya. I am trying to get the shortcut menu to appear while I have an object selected but it does not appear. It was working properly earlier in the day and now it is not. I go to User Preferences in the Options dialog and make sure that my choices in Right Click Customization are stated clearly: If No Objects are selected, Right Click means: X Repeat Last Command If one or more object are selected, Right Click means: X Shortcut Menu If a command is in progress, Right Click means: X Enter Why is my shortcut menu not coming up while I have an object selected (i.e. Highlighted with grips)?

Have I missed a toggle or forgotten something? Hi Did you check system variable PickFirst? What happens if you reset AutoCAD back to its 'Default' Profile?
Have a good one, MikePickFirst was set to '1'. But in the end I became impatient. I asked my IT guy very very nicely if he could do an uninstall / reinstall (cuz I saw that it helped some other users to do that) and that seemed to do the trick because I have my shortcut menus back. I suppose it's the cheap way out.
But I have a projet due on Friay and I couldn't spend any more time trying to figure it out. It would have been nice, but just not possible. Thanks for the ideas though. Every time something like this happens and I get to explore the inner workings and settings of AutoCAD, I feel my brain swell. Ok Max.Sabre was there any other solutions? We have suddenly ran across this all of a sudden this morning. Right click worked and now it won't.
When and item selected the Move, Mirror, etc commands do not appear. Through further investigation in the CUI the items are listed in the menu.
But just do not appear in the right click. We would rather not uninstall AutoCAD due to customization so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.Amy, You could try the advice that Mike.Perry has kindly posted on this thread. It's a bit of a read, but there's tons of suggestions that were offered. If any of them work, more power to you.
But personally, I had to do an uninstall / reinstall. I think what happened is that one of my CUI files was corrupt.
Once I reinstalled everything, it all went back to normal. No problems since. I suppose you could simply try erasing and reinstalling different CUI files (copy their files and paste them into your folders - maybe from another user in your office that hasn't got those problems - that might work. I didn't try that) but I get impatient sometimes and it's simply easier to blow things away than it is to fix them for me.
I was actually surprised how little time it took to re-customize everything once I did the reinstall. Once you do it once (and remember how to do it) it's quite simple to redo it all again. I have no other advice for you. Maybe Mike can help?
